2. Operant House: Developed by Dr. Shintaro Otsuka.

The Operant House is a fully automated device capable of conducting home-cage type operant analysis (can also be used as a non-home-cage type operant device). It supports touch screen and lever input. The cost is 50,000-60,000 yen per unit because it can be produced using only parts printed by a 3D printer costing about 30,000 yen and inexpensive electronic components, and it is designed so that it can be built without any knowledge of craftsmanship or electronics.

Visit this site for explanation and preparation of parts and tools, handling of the 3D printer, fabrication and handling of the machine, and adding user-original tasks.
