Brain Club was held with Dr. Masanori Matsuzaki

The 163rd Brain Club welcomed Dr. Masanori Matsuzaki (University of Tokyo School of Medicine) on April 30, 2024。The title of the presentation is "Functional dynamics of intercortical circuits and cortical-subcortical circuits governing behavior and cognition."。Using mice and common marmosets、In the evolution from rodents to primates、We study how cerebral cortical circuits and their functional dynamics change to realize higher-order behavior and cognition.、We heard about how the activity of the cerebral cortex is being elucidated by optical measurement and optical manipulation while performing a task with the head fixed.。
